Northeastern Nevada SAFE
Project Overview
SAFE advocates are helping to discover and possibly prevent neglect, financial misconduct, and abuse by guardians or others involved with the protected person’s care. Northeastern Nevada SAFE is working to properly educate volunteers, guardians, and the community on guardianships and elder abuse as a whole. All in all, the SAFE program is helping to reduce this mass amount of crime against elders while offering education opportunities and information to those who need them. The SAFE program is impacting the Elko County community in a massive way by decreasing crime and protecting the elderly.
