Nevada PEP
Project Overview
PEP is a statewide nonprofit serving families of children with a full range of disabilities. Our staff have lived experience raising children with disabilities or are individuals with disabilities. Staff help families navigate the education system, mental health care and other child serving systems to achieve home, school, and community success. PEP provides family peer support, information, and training. Recognized both federally and in Nevada with evidence of increased parent involvement in school and improved partnerships with service providers to better meet the needs of their children. The Outreach and Intake Specialist (OIS) will conduct outreach and talk with each new family to identify needs, develop a family driven plan for support and information services. Families will receive individualized resource packets, E-Newsletters and services from a dedicated Specialist.
