Project Overview

Arriba Las Vegas Worker Center seeks funding to provide authorized OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 training in the Construction Industry for Spanish-speaking Nevada residents to reduce COVID19 transmission among Spanish-speaking workers in the construction industry and expand free job training opportunities for occupational and economic advancement for disadvantaged Latina and Latino workers to ensure safer workers and safer workplaces for all. In order to overcome lasting economic hardship caused by COVID19, this project also serves to provide occupational training to improve access to employment in the construction industry and increase the earning potential for Spanish-Speaking Nevadan workers.
